What is blender-design-loop?

A workflow guide for creating and checking 3D geometry in Blender through Printable MCP, a tool server for AI-assisted modeling and 3D-print validation. It covers planning, building, testing, visual checking, and exporting.

It is for designing FDM-printable parts, validating their shape and internal sections, checking moving joints or hinges, and exporting the result.

It helps catch modeling problems such as incorrect units, broken boolean cuts, dark renders, and joints that do not have enough clearance.

Start with blender_clear_scene — auto-sets units to mm
Use blender_boolean, never bpy.ops.object.join() or raw boolean modifiers in execute_code
1–3 operations per execute_code then blender_validate(checks=['HEALTH'])
Renders show silhouettes only — use cross_section_gallery for internal truth
clearance_sweep is mandatory for any joint or hinge
