A connection between a coding agent and a Base Account through Base's MCP server. Base is a blockchain network and account service; the connection covers wallet, portfolio, transaction, payment, and trading-related actions.

Use it to view a wallet or portfolio, inspect transaction history, send or swap assets, sign transactions, make x402 payments, and run batched calls. It requires the Base MCP tools to be installed and available.

It gives an agent access to account information and blockchain actions in one interface. The workflow requires onboarding at the start of every conversation that involves it.

Onboarding

Keep it short. Do this once per session, before doing real work:

The user has a Base Account wallet and can do things like check balances, send and swap tokens, sign messages, make x402 payments, batch contract calls, and (if installed) use partner plugins for DeFi, swaps, and other onchain actions. Do not enumerate every tool — the agent discovers tools and plugins directly from the MCP.
