[REPLACE: SKILL_NAME]

[REPLACE: SKILL_NAME] is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from aaronjmars/aeon-agent. It costs 0 tokens per session (1,224 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of [REPLACE: SKILL_NAME], MIT.

A partly completed social-channel digest template for summarising the last day of activity on Discord, Telegram, or Slack.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it as a starting point for a bot that reads recent messages, checks the needed platform credentials, and produces a community summary.
Why use it?
The template does not name a real channel, platform, or search scope, so it cannot be used as-is without filling in its placeholders and providing the required access details.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.01224
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00612
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00245
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00122

Security

Grade A, and why

[REPLACE: SKILL_NAME] scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Makes network callslowCapability

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

Telegram, Discord, and Slack all need their bot token in the `Authorization` header. A bare `$TOKEN` on a `curl` line is refused by the Bash permission analyzer — so call `./secretcurl` with a `{ENV_NAME}` placeholder in
Origin

This is a copy

100% identical to [REPLACE: SKILL_NAME] — 0 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 94 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

${var} — Optional. Override the channel name. If empty, summarises [REPLACE: CHANNEL_NAME].

Today is ${today}. Read the last 24h of activity in [REPLACE: CHANNEL_PLATFORM] channel [REPLACE: CHANNEL_NAME] and produce a community digest.

Required secrets per platform

Platform Secrets Notes
discord DISCORD_BOT_TOKEN, DISCORD_CHANNEL_ID Bot must be in the server with View Channel + Read Message History.
telegram TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN, TELEGRAM_CHAT_ID Bot must have been added to the chat (private chats and groups both work).
slack SLACK_BOT_TOKEN, SLACK_CHANNEL_ID Bot needs channels:history (public) or groups:history (private) scope.

If the secrets for [REPLACE: CHANNEL_PLATFORM] aren't set, log COMMUNITY_NO_TOKEN and exit cleanly.

Steps

  1. Resolve channelCHANNEL="${var:-[REPLACE: CHANNEL_NAME]}". The exact API call depends on [REPLACE: CHANNEL_PLATFORM]:

    • discordGET https://discord.com/api/v10/channels/$DISCORD_CHANNEL_ID/messages?limit=100
    • telegramgetUpdates polling has limits; better to read the bot's stored offset state from memory/topics/[REPLACE: SKILL_NAME]-tg-offset.json.
    • slackPOST https://slack.com/api/conversations.history with channel + oldest=24h ago.
  2. Filter to the last 24h — drop messages older than now - 24h. Drop bot messages (most platforms expose is_bot / bot_id). Keep replies.

  3. Cluster into threads — Discord and Slack expose explicit thread/parent IDs; Telegram doesn't. For Telegram, cluster by reply-chain hops.

  4. Score threads — for each thread:

    • Reach — unique participants × log(message count).
    • Question pressure — does the parent message end with ? or contain words like "how", "why", "anyone", "stuck"? +5.
    • Recency — within the last 12h gets full marks.

Pick the top [REPLACE: TOP_N_THREADS] threads.

  5. Detect open questions — scan all parent-level messages. If a message ends with ? and has zero replies after 6 hours, mark it as OPEN_QUESTION. List them separately so the operator can chase.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
