Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00028 | $0.00926 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00370 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00185 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00003 | $0.00093 |
Grade B, and why
mysql-cli scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 23d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Asks for rootmediumPrivilege escalation
A mod that escalates privileges can change anything on the machine, not only the project.
Configure `~/.my.cnf` with a named `[<group>]` section per environment (`host`, `port`, `database`, `user`, `password`), and `chmod 600 ~/.my.cnf`. Never share credential file contents with the assistant. How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 89 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
MySQL CLI Skill
Use the connection table and rules below when constructing all mysql commands.
Configuration
Update the table below with your connection details before using this skill:
| Environment | Config Group Name (in ~/.my.cnf) |
|---|---|
| Production | <your-prod-group> |
| Staging / Non-Prod | <your-nonprod-group> |
If the target environment is unclear, ask the user before running any command.
Prerequisites (one-time setup by user)
If mysql is not installed or no connection group is configured, inform the user that setup is required and ask them to complete the following steps manually. Do not perform these steps yourself.
brew install mysql-client && brew link --force mysql-client
Configure ~/.my.cnf with a named [<group>] section per environment (host, port, database, user, password), and chmod 600 ~/.my.cnf. Never share credential file contents with the assistant.
Command Format
Always use --defaults-group-suffix or --login-path from ~/.my.cnf — never pass raw host/user/password on the command line, where they could leak into shell history or process listings:
mysql --defaults-group-suffix=<group> -e "<SQL>"
Examples
# Non-Prod — list tables
mysql --defaults-group-suffix=<your-nonprod-group> -e "SHOW TABLES;"
# Non-Prod — describe a table
mysql --defaults-group-suffix=<your-nonprod-group> -e "DESCRIBE <table_name>;"
Available Commands
Read-only (safe, no confirmation needed)
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
SHOW DATABASES; |
List databases |
SHOW TABLES; |
List tables |
DESCRIBE <table>; |
Describe a table's schema |
SHOW INDEX FROM <table>; |
List indexes for a table |
SHOW GRANTS FOR <user>; |
Show a user's grants (informational, not a mutation) |
SELECT ... |
Any read-only query |
EXPLAIN <query>; |
Show a query plan without executing it |
SHOW PROCESSLIST; |
List currently running queries |
Mutating operations (confirm with user before running)
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mysql-cli is a skill published in the GitHub repository abdullahkhawer/devops-skills (8 stars, last pushed 24d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 28 tokens to every session and 926 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it B with 1 finding (asks for root). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-23.
