frontend-craft

frontend-craft is a skill for Codex from ABilenduke/copilot-developer. It costs 44 tokens per session (1,154 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for designing, building, refining, or critiquing web interfaces, including layout, visual hierarchy, responsive behavior, accessibility, and interactions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create or improve pages and components, implement a supplied design, or review how a web interface looks and behaves across screen sizes.
Why use it?
It provides a structured way to make design choices based on the target audience, task, existing components, and the rendered result rather than changing styles blindly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00044 $0.01154
Opus 5.5 $0.00018 $0.00462
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00009 $0.00231
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00115

Security

Grade A, and why

frontend-craft scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Frontend Craft

Make the interface serve its audience and task, with deliberate visual decisions and evidence from the rendered result. Work with the project's framework and tools; HTML, CSS, accessibility, and content are foundations across stacks.

Establish the brief

Inspect the relevant page or component, existing design system, content, assets, and project instructions. Identify the audience, primary action, and whether the assignment is new design, refinement, implementation of a supplied design, or review. Preserve the existing identity and behavior unless changing them is part of the request.

Resolve discoverable details from the project. Ask only when an unresolved choice would materially change the result; otherwise state a useful assumption and proceed. Choose one defensible direction autonomously. Offer alternatives when requested or when they help resolve a consequential ambiguity. A small edit needs a small decision, not a new design process.

Use the brief and real content to establish hierarchy, density, typography, color, imagery, and motion. Explain the few choices that matter. Existing tokens and component conventions are the starting point. For new systems, establish a compact, coherent vocabulary without installing a framework or design system merely to satisfy this skill.

Load the guidance the task needs

Work Reference
New visual direction, expressive public site, composition or typography Art direction

Markup, styling, responsive layout, long or variable content HTML and CSS
Interactive controls, forms, keyboard, focus, contrast, reflow, motion Accessibility
Public page, content-heavy site, navigation or search discoverability Public-page SEO
Visual critique, browser verification, final assessment of a changed interface Rendered review

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
