What is create-project?

A workflow that creates a new project folder with a standard README and status-tracking files. The supplied project name is converted to lowercase kebab-case, such as my-new-project.

Starting a project, recording its goals and current status, listing key files, and tracking initial next steps.

It gives new projects a consistent starting structure and checks the project index for duplicates before creating anything.

Arguments

Step 2: Check for Duplicates

Read projects/PROJECT_INDEX.md and check if project exists.

If exists:

Warn user
Ask if they want to open existing project instead
