Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade E, and why
onboard scanned grade E with 5 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Asks for rootmediumPrivilege escalation
A mod that escalates privileges can change anything on the machine, not only the project.
sudo apt-get update -qq Reaches for credential fileshighPrivilege escalation
SSH keys, cloud credentials, git-credentials, .npmrc, /etc/shadow: reading these is how a config file becomes a credential leak.
- `inject_credentials` writes files directly into the agent workspace and accepts a curated set: `.env`, `.mcp.json`, `.config/gcloud/**`, `.kube/config`, `*.pem` / `*.key` / `*.crt` / `*.p12` / `*.pfx`, `.ssh/id_*` (`fi Reads MCP configurationmediumAgent snooping
mcp.json carries server URLs and auth tokens; reading it lets a mod discover and abuse other integrations.

Trinity Onboarding
ℹ️ First, set expectations: before anything else, print one short line with this skill's version and its most recent change — the top entry of
metadata.changelogabove — e.g.onboard vX.Y — recent: <summary>. Then proceed.
Onboard any Claude Code agent to Trinity — the operating system for the AI-native company: open source, self-hosted, that you own. This skill guides you through the complete setup process.
Prerequisites: Getting a Trinity Instance
You need access to a Trinity instance before proceeding. Trinity is open source and self-hosted — there is no hosted or managed offering; every instance is one you or your team runs.
Don't have one yet? Run /trinity:deploy-new-instance — it walks you through the three ways to stand one up:
- DigitalOcean, guided installer — Trinity's own one-command installer (
scripts/deploy/trinity-do-create.sh, v0.9.5+): a new Droplet behind HTTPS in about ten minutes, billed by DigitalOcean - Self-hosted, remote server — any SSH-reachable VPS / GCP / AWS machine
- Self-hosted, local Docker — Docker on this machine
Once it's up you'll have your own Trinity URL; /trinity:connect mints the MCP key from there. Repository: https://github.com/abilityai/trinity
What You'll Need
Once you have a Trinity instance, gather these before starting:
| Item | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Trinity URL | Your Trinity instance URL | https://trinity.example.com |
| MCP Key | Provisioned automatically by /trinity:connect |
trinity_mcp_... |
Run /trinity:connect first — it authenticates and provisions the MCP key (trinity_mcp_...) automatically; no manual key copying from the dashboard.
Understanding the Local-Remote Model
Trinity uses a paired agent architecture where the same agent runs both locally (on your machine) and remotely (on Trinity). This enables powerful workflows that combine the best of both worlds.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

onboard is a skill published in the GitHub repository Abilityai/abilities (12 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 27 tokens to every session and 22,489 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it E with 5 findings (asks for root, reaches for credential files, reads mcp configuration). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-07.
