Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00084 | $0.00930 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00034 | $0.00372 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00017 | $0.00186 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00008 | $0.00093 |
Grade A, and why
edit-video-with-valmera scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 14d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 42 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Edit a video with Valmera
Valmera is a hosted AI video editor. Its connector gives you editing tools that work on footage the user uploaded to Valmera. Every edit writes a new version of a non-destructive edit decision list (EDL). The original file is never changed, and any cut can be restored.
Workflow
- Find the project. Call
list_projects. If the user names a video, open that project withopen_project. If there are no projects, ask the user to upload the file at https://valmera.io or, if your client can send files, useupload_startandupload_finish. A file path in the chat doesn't upload anything. - Wait for analysis. Call
index_statusuntil it reports done. Transcript, shots and silences aren't available before that. - Read before you cut. Use
get_transcriptorget_wordsfor what was said,find_silencesfor pauses,get_shotsfor camera changes, andlook_atto see frames at exact times. Summarize what you found when the brief is vague. - Edit in focused steps. For example:
- Dead air and filler:
cut_silences,remove_filler_words, then checkget_kept_transcriptso no sentence lost a word. - Retakes or tangents:
search_transcript, thencut_rangeorkeep_segments.restore_rangeundoes a cut. - Captions:
add_captions,set_caption_style(size, color, position, active-word highlight),set_caption_fixesfor names, thenaudit_captions. - Vertical video:
auto_reframeto 9:16, thenlook_atwithoutput_timesto confirm the subject is in frame. - B-roll and graphics:
research_broll,search_stock,add_stock_media,insert_media,add_title_card,add_text. - Audio:
find_songor the user's file, thenadd_music(it ducks under speech),search_sfxandadd_sfx,set_master_loudness. - Emphasis:
suggest_emphasis,punch_in_on_emphasis,add_zoom.
- Dead air and filler:
- Render and check your own work. Call
render_previewwithcomplete=true. Slow tools return a job id: callwait_for_jobuntil it's done, and never report a job id as a finished result. Thenwatch_videoorlook_atwithrendered=trueand fix anything wrong before you report. - Report clearly. List what changed, with output times, and anything you couldn't do.
- Export when asked. When the user approves the preview and asks for the file, call
export_finalwith the project id and the reviewededl_version. Then callwait_for_job, thendownload_urlwithkind="final", and share the link.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

edit-video-with-valmera is a skill published in the GitHub repository ABO3SKRALMASAOODI/valmera-mcp (0 stars, last pushed 13d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 84 tokens to every session and 930 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-06.
