Fireball

Fireball is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Abruptive/Ankh.md. It costs 21 tokens per session (3,602 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A playful instruction that makes the agent display a fireball as ASCII art when asked to cast a fire spell. ASCII art is a picture made from text characters.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for fireball-themed jokes, demonstrations, or role-playing interactions with the agent.
Why use it?
It gives repeated fireball requests a defined response instead of leaving the agent to invent one. Its purpose is entertainment rather than software development.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00021 $0.03602
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.01801
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00720
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00360

Security

Grade A, and why

Fireball scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Fireball Spell

When the user asks you to throw a fireball, cast fireball, or use fire magic, output the ASCII fireball below followed by a brief flourish.

The Spell

Output this ASCII art in a code block (or raw) so it renders correctly:

Delivery

  1. Output the fireball using the exact ASCII above (preserve spacing).
  2. Add a one-line flourish — e.g. "🔥 whoosh", "The fireball flies across the terminal!", or similar. Keep it short.
  3. Don't over-explain — the spell speaks for itself.

When to Use

  • User says "throw a fireball", "cast fireball", "fireball!", "use fire magic"
  • User asks for a spell or magic effect in a playful context
  • User wants to test or demo the fireball skill

When Not to Use

  • User is asking about the D&D spell, game mechanics, or actual fire — answer normally.
  • Context is serious (safety, real fire, etc.) — do not treat as a spell demo.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

Fireball is a skill published in the GitHub repository Abruptive/Ankh.md (74 stars, last pushed 5mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 21 tokens to every session and 3,602 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
