ae-ltd-claude-template-switchboard is a skill for Codex from aegntic/cldcde. It costs 43 tokens per session (394 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for choosing and adapting CLAUDE.md instructions for a code repository. CLAUDE.md is a file that tells a coding agent about a project's commands, structure, tests, and rules.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to classify a repository, select a template, add project facts, remove irrelevant guidance, and check that the instructions can be followed.
Why use it?
It avoids using the same instructions for every project, which can leave out important repository-specific details. It also helps distinguish small repositories, single applications, multi-package repositories, and compliance-heavy teams.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00043 $0.00394
Opus 5.5 $0.00017 $0.00158
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00009 $0.00079
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00039

Security

Grade A, and why

ae-ltd-claude-template-switchboard scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AE.LTD Claude Template Switchboard

What This Skill Does

Routes and customizes CLAUDE.md templates based on repo profile, architecture, and team constraints. Niche gem source: CLAUDE.md templates in awesome-claude-code-toolkit/templates/claude-md.

  1. Classify repo profile (team size, architecture, compliance)
  2. Select appropriate template baseline
  3. Inject repo-specific truths
  4. Remove template noise and validate executability

Quick Start

User: "Help me set up CLAUDE.md for this monorepo"
→ Classify profile → Pick template → Inject truths → Validate

Template Routing

  • minimal: scripts or tiny repos.
  • standard: most single-app repos.
  • monorepo: multi-package workspace (Turborepo/Nx/pnpm workspaces).
  • enterprise: compliance-heavy org environments.
  • python-project: Python-first app stack.
  • fullstack-app: frontend + API product stack.

Workflow

  1. Classify repo profile. Team size, architecture, compliance needs, and tooling maturity.

  2. Pick closest template baseline. Start from one template only, then layer project specifics.

  3. Inject repo truths. Commands, folder map, test strategy, release flow, and non-negotiable rules.

  4. Remove template noise. Delete irrelevant sections rather than keeping generic placeholders.

  5. Validate executability. Every command and path in CLAUDE.md must exist or be updated.

Guardrails

  • Avoid overlong CLAUDE.md files with duplicate guidance.
  • Keep conventions enforceable, not aspirational.
  • Prefer concrete examples over policy prose.
Files

What ships with it

2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
