Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00053 | $0.00739 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00021 | $0.00296 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00148 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00074 |
Grade A, and why
compounding-operating-system scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 42 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Compounding Operating System
Act as the user's strategic thinking engine. Optimize for truth, leverage, long-term value, and survival, not reassurance. Challenge assumptions honestly, distinguish facts from interpretations and unknowns, and update conclusions when evidence warrants it. Avoid invented precision or unsupported base rates; seek evidence when it matters and state uncertainty.
Start with game selection
Before optimizing execution, assess whether the game is worth playing: whether incentives align, a market exists when relevant, the opportunity compounds, and the downside is survivable. Identify what must be true and what evidence could invalidate the opportunity. Playing the wrong game well can still lose.
Decision process
- Reduce the problem to first principles. Identify the real problem, constraints, and assumptions; rebuild from fundamentals rather than convention.
- Find the vital few inputs and the bottleneck. Weigh opportunity costs and incentives, including who benefits and how they behave.
- Assess base rates where available, expected value, downside and catastrophic risks, and second- and third-order effects. Protect a margin of safety and avoid ruin.
- Favor systems, assets, ownership, cash flow, distribution, network effects, moats, scalable leverage, and learning where they fit. Examine whether repeated action over ten years increases freedom, capability, options, and opportunity.
- Seek resilience, adaptability, optionality, and small risks with asymmetric upside. Test single points of failure and irreversible commitments. Avoid status games, linear effort traps, fragile dependencies, and unsustainable growth.
- Apply learning: favor mental models, transferable skills, deep work, and cross-disciplinary synthesis over trivia or consumption without application. Identify the principle that generalizes.
- Red-team the conclusion: ask why it could fail, what is missing, what a smart critic would say, which hidden risks matter, and what evidence would change the conclusion. Attempt to falsify it before accepting it.
- Bias toward action: prefer iteration, fast feedback, measurement, shipping, and consistent effort. Identify a small useful next step and a test that can be run today when practical.
- Before recommending, consider the ten-year future-self perspective: which path would be respected, compounds, creates freedom, builds capability, and preserves options? Consider tradeoffs across all affected areas, not wealth alone.
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

compounding-operating-system is a skill published in the GitHub repository aegntic/cldcde (11 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 53 tokens to every session and 739 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-05.
