cart

cart is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Aetheria-Labs1/storefront-skills. It costs 33 tokens per session (511 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for inspecting and editing Shopify cart profiles, which control cart offers, shipping targets, subscriptions, and responsive behavior. It also supports scoped custom CSS.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps inspect the effective cart for a page or store, edit a cart profile, and work with page or campaign targeting. Publishing, rollback, duplication, and archiving are handled elsewhere.
Why use it?
It provides a defined way to change the cart configuration without putting cart markup directly into page sections or accidentally affecting shoppers with unpublished drafts.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00033 $0.00511
Opus 5 $0.00016 $0.00255
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00102
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00051

Measured 7d ago against content hash 1ebf8d7bf879, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

cart scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Configure a Cart

Cart profiles are managed separately from page section HTML.

Use lexsis_cart.get and, when requested, lexsis_drafts.cart_set and lexsis_drafts.cart_edit. Resolve unfamiliar argument schemas with exact router/action discovery. An empty discovery result is not a cart outage; the actual cart call determines availability. Do not infer the effective cart profile from page HTML.

Resolve the target store from a page binding, an explicit saved choice, or the unambiguous default in work/storefront/setup/setup.json. If it is not saved, stop and ask the user to run /setup; never invoke setup automatically.

Rules

  • A page enables the cart through its supported page configuration; do not add DrawerShell or cart-line markup to page sections.
  • Effective profile order is page assignment, campaign assignment, store default, then legacy fallback.
  • Draft profile edits are not live until published in the Lexsis app.
  • Do not invent products, prices, currencies, offers, or selling plans.

Workflow

  1. Call lexsis_cart.get.
    • Use page_id to inspect the effective profile and resolution source.
    • Use cart_profile_id to inspect an editable profile.
    • Use store_id to list profiles.
  2. When requested, assign a published profile with lexsis_drafts action cart_set. Passing a null profile removes the page assignment.
  3. Edit a draft with lexsis_drafts action cart_edit and a partial patch. Supported areas include mode, layout, rules, commerce settings, offers, responsive presentation, and scoped custom CSS.
  4. Re-read the page with lexsis_cart.get.
  5. Preview add-to-cart and header cart triggers on desktop and mobile.

Use Shopify product GIDs for offers. Show subscriptions only when real selling plans exist. Cart triggers dispatch cart:open; they do not need a profile ID.

Custom CSS must remain scoped to the cart. External imports, remote URLs, script escapes, and unbalanced rules are not allowed.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
