generate

generate is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Aetheria-Labs1/storefront-skills. It costs 28 tokens per session (1,410 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for generating complete Shopify storefront pages, such as product, collection, homepage, editorial, landing, list, and bundle pages. It chooses a page approach based on the type of page requested and requires a page plan before generation unless planning is explicitly skipped.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan and generate Shopify pages for products, collections, homepages, campaigns, editorial content, lists, or bundles. It can also work with approved plans and asset lists supplied by related page-building workflows.
Why use it?
It helps turn a storefront request into an organised page design with the required planning and supporting workflows. This reduces the chance of building an ecommerce page without first deciding its structure and content.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00028 $0.01410
Opus 5 $0.00014 $0.00705
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00282
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00141

Security

Grade A, and why

generate scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 3 executable files (scripts/migrate_page_workspace_v3.py, scripts/prepare_workspace_compile.py, scripts/validate_page_workspace.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 154 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Generate the Draft

Create a remote draft from canonical local source. Draft creation is reversible; publishing remains a separate explicit action.

Read:

  • references/workflow-intent.md
  • references/source-and-sync.md
  • references/animation-system.md when source contains or requires motion
  • references/consumer-behavior-cro.md when planning or design was skipped
  • references/page-editing.md only for an existing page
  • references/merchant-templates.md only when reusing a merchant template
  • references/qa-recipe.md for production-ready QA

Use lexsis_catalog.get, lexsis_design.island_schema, lexsis_pages.compile, lexsis_pages.edit_context, lexsis_pages.source, lexsis_pages.integrity, and lexsis_page_create.create.

Infer the Outcome

Infer intent from the whole request and conversation using references/workflow-intent.md; do not require a trigger phrase.

  • fast-draft is the default for reversible ambiguity and requests to create, try, preview, explore, or iterate.
  • production-ready applies when the user asks for final polish, exhaustive QA, campaign handoff, or launch preparation.
  • publish routes to /publish; this skill never infers live-release approval.

State the inferred mode briefly and record compact evidence in workflow. A request to create a draft authorizes one page-creation credit for the named page. Intent inference never authorizes a duplicate page, paid asset generation, publication, deletion, or destructive replacement.

Inputs and Setup Reuse

Use lexsis-source.html, page-theme.css, and the compact schema-v3 manifest. Reuse the saved store/theme binding from work/storefront/setup/setup.json. Do not call setup again when that binding is valid.

Refresh only volatile creation data: selected products and variants, prices, availability, permissions, active island schemas, and an existing page's version. Never preserve a stale hardcoded Shopify variant ID when current catalog data or a dynamic product binding can resolve it.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

generate is a skill published in the GitHub repository Aetheria-Labs1/storefront-skills (8 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 28 tokens to every session and 1,410 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
