unpublish

unpublish is a skill for Claude Code from AgentToolkit/altk-evolve. It costs 19 tokens per session (325 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of evolve-lite:unpublish, Apache-2.0.

A procedure for removing a published entity from a shared write-enabled repository while restoring its private copy. It checks ownership and uses Git, a version-control system, to record and send the removal.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to unpublish an entity, restore its private mirror, stage only the intended deletion, commit it, and push it to the configured branch.
Why use it?
It avoids deleting the wrong owner's content or overwriting an existing private copy. It also preserves Git history and warns that people who already downloaded the content may still have copies.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00019 $0.00325
Opus 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00130
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00004 $0.00065
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

unpublish scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/unpublish.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Unpublish an Entity

Read evolve.config.yaml. Select a write-scope repo and a published {type}/{filename} owned by identity.user. Ask which repo if ambiguous. Explain that unpublishing removes the current shared copy after pushing; it does not erase git history or copies already downloaded by subscribers.

Run:

python3 ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/evolve-lite/unpublish/scripts/unpublish.py \
  --entity "{filename}" \
  --type "{type}" \
  --repo "{repo}" \
  --user "{identity.user}"

The script restores a private entity before removing the shared file. It refuses unknown or different owners, and refuses to overwrite an existing private mirror. If a mirror exists, compare the two and reconcile them with the user before retrying; do not delete either copy blindly.

Stage only the selected deletion and publish it:

git -C ".evolve/entities/subscribed/{repo}" add -- "{type}/{filename}"
git -C ".evolve/entities/subscribed/{repo}" commit -m "[evolve] unpublish: {filename}"
git -C ".evolve/entities/subscribed/{repo}" push origin "{branch}"

Use the configured branch (default main). For a rejected push follow the non-fast-forward recovery workflow in /evolve-lite:publish. Report success only after pushing. Retain the restored private copy on push failure.

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
