aget: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/aget-recommend-action/SKILL.md

aget-recommend-action is a skill for Claude Code from aget-framework/aget. It costs 11 tokens per session (493 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A structured decision aid that compares several options and recommends one with reasons, alternatives, risks, confidence, assumptions, and uncertainties.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for product, technical, operational, or other decisions where multiple options must be compared against goals and constraints.
Why use it?
It makes difficult choices easier to review by showing what was considered and why one option is preferred. It leaves the final decision to the user.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00011 $0.00493
Opus 5 $0.00005 $0.00246
Sonnet 5 $0.00002 $0.00099
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00049

Security

Grade A, and why

aget-recommend-action scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

aget-recommend-action

Provide structured recommendations with clear rationale, alternatives considered, and risk assessment. Advisory role — informs decisions, does not make them.

Instructions

When this skill is invoked:

  1. Understand the Context

    • Clarify the decision or question requiring recommendation
    • Identify constraints, goals, and success criteria
    • Note stakeholder perspectives
  2. Analyze Options

    • Identify at least 2-3 viable alternatives
    • Evaluate each against criteria
    • Document pros and cons
  3. Form Recommendation

    • Select primary recommendation
    • Articulate clear rationale (why this option)
    • Assign confidence level (High, Medium, Low)
  4. Document Uncertainties

    • List assumptions made
    • Note information gaps
    • Identify conditions that would change recommendation

Output Format

## Recommendation: [Topic]

### Primary Recommendation

**Action**: [Clear, actionable recommendation]

**Rationale**: [Why this option over alternatives]

**Confidence**: [High/Medium/Low] — [Brief justification]

### Alternatives Considered

| Option | Pros | Cons | Why Not Primary |
|--------|------|------|-----------------|
| [Alt 1] | [+] | [-] | [Reason] |
| [Alt 2] | [+] | [-] | [Reason] |

### Risk Assessment

- **If adopted**: [Key risks]
- **If not adopted**: [Opportunity cost]

### Assumptions

1. [Assumption that, if wrong, changes recommendation]

### Conditions for Revisiting

- Revisit if: [Condition 1]
- Revisit if: [Condition 2]

Constraints

  • C1: NEVER present recommendations as commands — advisory role is advisory
  • C2: NEVER hide alternatives that conflict with primary recommendation
  • C3: NEVER claim certainty when assumptions exist — intellectual honesty required
  • SKILL-015: aget-recommend-action specification
  • ONTOLOGY_advisor.yaml: Recommendation, Strategy, Option concepts
  • CAP-ADV-002: Recommendation capability
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
