Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00085 | $0.01279 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00043 | $0.00639 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00017 | $0.00256 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00009 | $0.00128 |
Grade A, and why
setup-notion scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 145 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Skill: Setup Notion
Purpose
Guided Notion MCP setup wizard. Configures the hosted Notion MCP server, walks the user through OAuth authentication, and verifies the connection by searching their workspace.
When to Use
- User says
/setup-notion, "connect to notion", "set up notion", "I want to export to Notion" - Routed here from
/connect-dataor/export notionwhen Notion MCP is not configured
Invocation
/setup-notion — start the setup wizard
Instructions
Step 1: Check Existing Configuration
1a. Check .mcp.json for Notion server:
Read .mcp.json (if it exists) and look for a notion server entry.
1b. Check if Notion MCP tools are available:
Try to call mcp__notion__notion-search with a test query.
Decision matrix:
- Notion MCP configured + tools available → skip to Step 4 (verify)
- Notion MCP configured + tools NOT available → go to Step 3 (restart needed)
- No Notion config at all → continue to Step 2
Step 2: Add Notion to .mcp.json
- Read
.mcp.jsonif it exists (preserve other servers like Snowflake, Slack) - Add the
notionserver entry:{ "notion": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.notion.com/mcp" } } - Write the updated
.mcp.jsonusing the Edit tool (or Write if creating fresh)
That's it — no API key, no npm package, no credentials. Notion's hosted MCP
server handles authentication via OAuth when the user runs /mcp.
Tell the user:
- "Notion MCP server added to your config."
- "This uses Notion's official hosted server with OAuth — no API key needed."
Step 3: Restart & Authenticate
The MCP server won't be available until Claude Code restarts and loads the
new .mcp.json config.
Tell the user:
- "Claude Code needs to restart to pick up the new config."
- "After restarting:"
- " 1. Run
/mcpin Claude Code" - " 2. Find notion in the server list and click Authenticate"
- " 3. A browser window will open — sign in to Notion and authorize access"
- " 4. Select which pages/databases to share (or share the whole workspace)"
- " 5. Come back here and run
/setup-notionagain — I'll verify the connection"
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

setup-notion is a skill published in the GitHub repository ai-analyst-lab/ai-analyst (298 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 85 tokens to every session and 1,279 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-12.
