apartment-hunter: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/html-report-generator/SKILL.md

html-report-generator is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from ai-engineers-guild/apartment-hunter. It costs 22 tokens per session (230 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool that turns a JSON list of apartments into a local HTML report with photos, prices, links, and descriptions. HTML is the format used to display web pages.

In plain words
What is it for?
Preparing apartment data for display and serving the resulting report on a local web address.
Why use it?
It provides a visual way to compare apartment listings instead of reading raw JSON data.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: installed under .agents/ (shared by several agents).

This is ai-engineers-guild/apartment-hunter's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on apartment-hunter itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything apartment-hunter configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00022 $0.00230
Opus 5 $0.00011 $0.00115
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00046
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00023

Measured 9d ago against content hash 40c7502978c3, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

html-report-generator scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/generate.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

HTML Report Generator

Use this skill when the user wants to see a list of apartments visually instead of just reading text in the chat. This skill will generate a polished HTML page with photos, prices, and links, and start a local HTTP server to display it.

How to use:

  1. Search for the apartments the user requested using your available MCP tools (e.g. vector search, DB query).
  2. Save the resulting list of apartments to a JSON file named apartments.json in the .agents/skills/html-report-generator/scripts/ directory. The JSON should be a list of objects with at least: title, price, url, photos (list of urls), description.
  3. Run the python script to generate and serve the report:
    cd .agents/skills/html-report-generator/scripts
    python generate.py

  4. Tell the user that the report is available at http://localhost:8080/report.html.
Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

html-report-generator is a skill published in the GitHub repository ai-engineers-guild/apartment-hunter (2 stars, last pushed 16d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 22 tokens to every session and 230 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
