compare

compare is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from ai-search-guru/getcito-worlds-first-open-source-aio-aeo-or-geo-tool. It costs 15 tokens per session (599 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for writing a fair comparison page between two products or services, using the pages AI systems currently cite. It includes dated facts and explains which option suits different readers.

In plain words
What is it for?
Drafting alternatives pages, side-by-side comparisons, and answers to questions such as which of two options to choose.
Why use it?
It provides a structured alternative to an unsupported product comparison and reflects how people and AI systems frame the choice.

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00015 $0.00599
Opus 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00240
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00003 $0.00120
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00060

Security

Grade A, and why

compare scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Comparison page

A balanced comparison page that answers "X or Y?" the way AI engines like to quote: plainly, fairly, with dates.

When to use

  • "Write an GetCito vs Northwind page", "We lose the 'best alternative to X' prompt: draft a page", "Make an alternatives page."
  • To change the brand's existing pages against one competitor instead, the Beat a competitor skill fits better.

What to read

  1. list_competitors: the tracked competitors and their domains.
  2. list_ai_answers for the comparison prompt: how AI frames the choice today, and which pages it cites.
  3. list_citations with the competitor and external filters: the comparison and review pages AI cites.
  4. get_fanouts for the prompt: the questions people ask around the choice.
  5. get_competitor_comparison only as internal context: it never goes on the page.

Steps

  1. Pick the prompt and the competitor. If either is unclear, ask, with the tracked competitors as the options.
  2. Compare the pages AI engines cite for that prompt: what they answer, how they lay out the choice, how old their facts are.
  3. Draft the comparison page:
    • Open with the answer: who should pick which option, in two or three sentences.
    • A comparison table: one row per feature or need, a column for each option, and an "as of {date}" line under it.
    • A short section for each option's strengths, the competitor's included, and an FAQ from the fan-outs.
    • Facts about the competitor come only from pages read in this chat or from the person, each with the date it was true. Facts about the brand come from the person or its own pages; anything else is a [placeholder].
  4. Save it as a draft when the person wants it kept, with create_draft (page type comparison or alternatives); the app asks them first when it should. In an agent's run nobody is there to ask: always save it with its tool, and the app holds it for approval where the agent's mode needs it.

Output

The page as HTML, and under it the list of facts the person must check before it goes live.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
