jooq-persistence

jooq-persistence is a skill for Claude Code from AI-Unified-Process/marketplace. It costs 211 tokens per session (817 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A guide for building the database-access layer of a Spring Boot use case with jOOQ. It creates repositories and Java records that use generated database code to run type-checked queries and return application data.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps build repository methods for aggregates, nested collections, paging, filters, and projections from database rows into Java records.
Why use it?
It keeps database queries and mapping logic in one layer, reducing the need for service code to know how tables are queried.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00211 $0.00817
Opus 5.5 $0.00084 $0.00327
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00042 $0.00163
Haiku 4.5 $0.00021 $0.00082

Security

Grade A, and why

jooq-persistence scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

jOOQ Persistence

Instructions

Build the persistence layer of the use case $ARGUMENTS with jOOQ: one @Repository per aggregate with an injected DSLContext, type-safe queries against the generated classes, and projections into Java records with Records.mapping. Transactions belong to the service layer.

Scope

  • Consumes the Handover of the migration layer, or the existing migrations when run directly.
  • Produces the repository methods and records the service layer calls.
  • Never touches migrations, services, controllers, views, tests, or anything under docs/ other than the Markers table of docs/architecture/stack.md.

Run Directly or from /use-case-implement

Run from /use-case-implement, this skill inherits the inputs that skill read, the gaps the user answered, and its rules for reconciling an existing implementation; it does not repeat the status check or ask the same questions again. Run directly, read the use case, the requirements it links, docs/entity_model.md, and docs/architecture/stack.md yourself, and stop on a Draft or Reviewed use case.

Business Rule Markers

Put // UC-XXX BR-YYY: <rule> directly above the .where(...) / .and(...) condition or the query that enforces the rule (an exists or count check the service decides on).

Markers

Keep this skill's rows in the Markers table of docs/architecture/stack.md exactly as references/markers.md lists them: add them when they are missing, correct them when they differ. Touch no other row.

Workflow

  1. Read the migration Handover and the existing repositories; extend the repository of the aggregate when it exists.
  2. Write the queries the use case's steps need, with records for their results.
  3. Update the Markers table — see "Markers".
  4. Report the files created or changed and end with the Handover.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

jooq-persistence is a skill published in the GitHub repository AI-Unified-Process/marketplace (150 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 211 tokens to every session and 817 once invoked, about $0.0008 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-25.
