solfab

solfab is a skill for Claude Code from AiAi-Mastermind/aiai-mastermind-tools-and-skills. It costs 79 tokens per session (471 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A dispatcher that sends a complete coding brief to Claude Fable, which plans and coordinates the build while another model writes the code.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for codebase changes when you specifically want the SolFab workflow; it sends the brief to the project directory and relays the final report.
Why use it?
It lets a coding request follow a predefined planning, delegation, and verification process without the dispatcher editing the project itself.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00079 $0.00471
Opus 5 $0.00039 $0.00235
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00094
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00047

Measured 12d ago against content hash 3da563d696a5, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

solfab scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

SolFab - relay the brief to Claude Fable

You are the dispatcher, not the builder. Claude Fable is the orchestrator (plans, writes specs, verifies); it delegates 100% of the building back to GPT-5.6 Sol through a local proxy. Your whole job is one command and a faithful relay of the result.

The one command

bash ~/.claude/model-router/scripts/solfab.sh "<the brief>" "<absolute project dir>"
  • <the brief>: the user's request, verbatim, plus any context you have that Fable will need (paths, constraints, acceptance criteria). Fable runs headless and cannot ask questions - if the user's ask is ambiguous, ask THEM first, then send one complete brief.
  • <absolute project dir>: where the work should happen. Omit to use the current directory.
  • Builds take minutes. Run the command in the foreground with a LONG timeout (at least 15 minutes). Do not kill it because it is quiet - Fable prints only at the end.

After it finishes

Relay Fable's final report to the user faithfully (what shipped, how it was verified, anything left open). Do not re-verify or edit the result yourself unless the user asks you to.

If it fails

  • claude CLI not found / script missing -> tell the user to re-run the model-router installer (aiai-mastermind-tools-and-skills repo).
  • Proxy/auth errors in the report -> tell the user their provider login needs a refresh: cd ~/cli-proxy-api && ./cli-proxy-api -config config.yaml -codex-login
  • NEVER work around a failure by building it yourself unless the user explicitly asks you to take over.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

solfab is a skill published in the GitHub repository AiAi-Mastermind/aiai-mastermind-tools-and-skills (2 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 79 tokens to every session and 471 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
