html-presentation

html-presentation is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from aiappsgbb/awesome-gbb. It costs 98 tokens per session (2,805 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for creating and improving HTML presentations that combine written arguments with responsive web pages and scrolling visual stories. It covers research, evidence, writing, design, and browser-based visual checks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for browser-based briefings, pitches, retrospectives, and scrollytelling presentations, including local HTML authoring and visual verification.
Why use it?
It helps turn presentation material into a structured web experience while keeping evidence and rendered results separate. It also makes missing source access or unperformed checks explicit.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00098 $0.02805
Opus 5.5 $0.00039 $0.01122
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00561
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00281

Security

Grade A, and why

html-presentation scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 4 executable files (assets/story.js, scripts/bundle.py, scripts/check_story.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

HTML presentation

Build an argument worth following, then a browser experience worth presenting. Use the web's continuous canvas, responsive compositions and contextual exploration to carry that argument. Evaluate evidence, editorial clarity and rendered design separately.

Establish the environment

Requires Python 3.9+, filesystem and shell access, and browser automation for visual verification. Microsoft research uses authenticated WorkIQ and Seismic MCP access plus Microsoft Learn. Browser canvas integration is optional. This skill authors local HTML; it does not provision Azure resources or invoke Azure models. Missing source access and unperformed browser checks remain explicit evidence gaps, not passing validation.

Resolve the installed skill directory from the host's skill metadata and choose a writable workspace. Check Python 3.9+ and the available browser automation. Use the host's artifact directory for the storyboard; otherwise keep that structured working record in the authoring folder.

Research needs network access and the appropriate Microsoft source tools. Verify their availability before grounding Microsoft content. Record missing access explicitly and qualify the resulting draft. Offline delivery refers to the finished HTML's rendering resources; opening source links still needs access to the original systems.

Choose the smallest path

  • For a new experience: brief -> evidence -> storyline -> experience storyboard -> editorial review -> HTML -> actual-browser review -> delivery.
  • For approved content: preserve its meaning, facts, qualifications and sources; proceed to design rather than reopening settled decisions.
  • For a targeted revision: preserve unaffected content and test adjacent interactions.
  • For planning or audit only: return the requested editorial work.

Ask only material unanswered questions. Reuse context and previous decisions. Confirm the primary audience and depth before fixing a new storyline. Identify the audience's question, intended understanding or decision, language, duration and delivery: guided live exploration, standalone reading, or both. A short technical update can assume a five-minute guided path; label that assumption. Choose the number and length of story beats from the argument.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
