What is deploy-service?

A guide for deploying a service to a production host, including preparing releases, starting the service, and checking that it works.

Use it to design, implement, review, or troubleshoot service deployments involving SSH access, runtime services, reverse proxies, TLS certificates, DNS, firewalls, and production checks.

It covers the operational safeguards needed to release software safely, including restricted access, health checks, atomic activation, rollback, and keeping older releases.
