Getting it into your agent

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00242 | $0.02211 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00097 | $0.00884 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00048 | $0.00442 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00024 | $0.00221 |
Grade A, and why
aio-jev-hint scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 28d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 119 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
aio-jev-hint — hint-injection hooks with an LLM classifier
The pattern
Two pieces, one job: surface the right hint at the right moment without the user asking. The catalog is a generic hint list — nothing ties it to any one kind of target. An entry can point at a skill, an MCP server, a project rule, a dashboard, or a plain reminder; the hook doesn't know or care which.
.jev-hint— a JSON array of{name, useWhen, context}entries. Global at~/.claude/.jev-hint, optionally overridden per-project by a.jev-hintat the repo root (nearest-ancestor lookup, same resolution rule as.git). Project entries win name collisions.- A
UserPromptSubmithook — on every prompt, batches all catalog entries into one LLM call (experimental_evaluatefrom theaiSDK, modeltypesafe-ai/jev) asking "does this apply?" per entry, then injects thecontextof every entry that clears a confidence threshold asadditionalContext.

Writing the .jev-hint catalog
| Field | Required | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
name |
yes | Stable unique key. Used for dedup (project overrides global) and shows up in logs — pick something that identifies the target, whatever kind of target it is: a skill's slash command, an MCP server name, a rule label. |
useWhen |
yes | This is what the LLM actually scores against the prompt. Get this wrong and every other field is moot. |
context |
yes | Injected verbatim when matched — a slash command, an MCP server blurb, a dashboard URL, a project rule, a plain reminder sentence: whatever the target needs. Multiple matches get joined into one line, so keep it short. |
useWhen: before/after from real tuning
The first version of this catalog copied each entry's full SKILL.md description verbatim — second-person, keyword-dense, built for a different discovery mechanism:
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

aio-jev-hint is a skill published in the GitHub repository aiocean/claude-plugins (4 stars, last pushed 29d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 242 tokens to every session and 2,211 once invoked, about $0.0010 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-19.

catchup
Restore context after /clear by summarizing recent work and project state.
daily-briefing
Proactive daily briefing that fires on a recurring schedule, pulls recent memory and workspace context, composes a structured summary (action items, progress, radar, next steps), and delivers it to all active channels. Enable with a time like "set up my daily briefing at 9am". Disable, reschedule, or check status at…
ha-knowledge
Working method for the Hope Agent knowledge space — how to capture, organize, link, retrieve, and maintain Markdown notes well with the note tools. Load whenever you are reading or writing notes in an attached knowledge base. Trigger on: user asks to take / save / organize / restructure notes, build or grow a…
report
Writes the session final report to a file, then prints only the path and a one-line summary. Fires when the prompt contains "Report per memstack:report", and also when the prompt begins with a standing trigger configured through MEMSTACKREPORTONTASKPROMPTS or MEMSTACKREPORTTRIGGERS. Dormant otherwise.
token-optimization
Use when the user says 'token optimization', 'save tokens', 'context window', 'reduce tokens', 'token stack', or 'TokenStack', or asks about extending context window capacity. Covers TokenStack, the built-in compression proxy that shrinks Claude Code tool output before it reaches the Anthropic API. Do NOT use for…
state
Use when the user says 'update state', 'project state', 'where was I', or at session start to load current context.
