What is batch-processing-jobs?

A guide to running large or slow tasks as jobs handled in the background, often through queues, schedules, and worker processes. A queue is a holding area that lets work be processed separately from the user's immediate request.

Use it for large data processing, scheduled reports, email campaigns, imports and exports, media processing, data pipelines, cleanup, and bulk updates.

Long-running work can make applications feel slow or fail when too much arrives at once. Background jobs help separate heavy processing from the main application flow and organize retries or results.
