What is developer-onboarding?

A guide to preparing documentation that helps a new developer set up a project and make their first contribution. It covers README files, contributing rules, architecture, testing, Git, and deployment.

Use it to write setup guides, getting-started tutorials, architecture overviews, code-style rules, testing instructions, and contribution documentation.

It reduces the time spent asking how the project works or how to run it and gives new contributors a clear starting point.
