What is fluentbit-validator?

A validator for Fluent Bit configuration files, which define how log data enters, is filtered, and is sent elsewhere.

Use it to lint, audit, or check classic-mode Fluent Bit files containing INPUT, FILTER, and OUTPUT sections. It reports static issues and, when available, validates the configuration by running Fluent Bit.

It catches configuration mistakes such as broken tag routing, mismatched inputs and outputs, and security problems before deployment. It can also perform a Fluent Bit dry run when the program is installed.
