A workflow that builds a profile of the customers a business wants to win, using CRM records or information you provide. The result covers customer types, their jobs, problems, buying triggers, objections, and example accounts.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to define a customer persona, study won and lost accounts, or give campaigns and sales messages a clearer audience.
Why use it?
It replaces guesswork about an ideal customer with evidence from sales records, conversations, or supplied notes.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00067 $0.01550
Opus 5 $0.00034 $0.00775
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00310
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00155

Security

Grade A, and why

profile-my-customer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Profile My Customer

Source template: Gumloop "Market Segmentation: Buyer Persona Pain Point Report". Adapted for solo founder running everything alone.

When to use

  • "profile our ideal customer" / "build a persona for {segment}" / "help me nail buyer persona for {role}".
  • "going upmarket, redo persona" / "SMB persona changed, update it".
  • "build a persona from closed-won accounts" / "pull from my CRM, not vibes" / "who's actually buying this - look at closed-won".
  • Called implicitly when another skill (e.g. plan-a-campaign, set-up-my-marketing-info) needs more persona depth than config/ideal-customer.json provides.

Connections I need

I run external work through Composio. Before this skill runs I check that the categories below are linked. Missing -> I name the category, ask you to connect it from the Integrations tab, stop.

  • CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio) - pull top closed-won and lost accounts so the persona is grounded in who actually buys. Required if you want me to infer the persona, optional if you'd rather paste.
  • Meeting notes (Gong, Fireflies, Circleback) - verbatim pains, objections, and triggers. Optional but lifts the persona quality a lot.
  • Web search and scrape (Exa, Perplexity, Firecrawl) - fill in role definitions, market reports, and common workflows. Optional.

If you want a CRM-grounded persona and no CRM is connected, I stop and ask you to connect HubSpot, Salesforce, or Attio (or paste the top accounts).

Information I need

I read your marketing context first. For every required field that's missing I ask ONE plain-language question (best modality: connected app > file drop > URL > paste) and wait.

  • Your positioning - Required. Why I need it: persona work is wasted without a positioning anchor. If missing I ask: "Want me to draft your positioning first? It's one skill, takes about five minutes."
  • The segment to profile - Required. Why I need it: one persona per run, I don't want to build the wrong one. If missing I ask: "Which segment are we profiling, your core ideal customer or a new one? A short description works, or point me at your CRM."
  • Top accounts to learn from - Required. Why I need it: I won't invent demographics. If missing I ask: "Connect your CRM so I can pull your closed-won list, or paste five accounts (won or target) you want me to learn from."

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
