Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00066 $0.02095
Opus 5 $0.00033 $0.01047
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00419
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00210

Security

Grade A, and why

write-a-post scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Write a Post

Channel-native drafting, one skill. channel param pick shape. Core discipline - positioning, voice, no invented stats, drafts only - shared across channels.

Parameter: channel

  • blog - 2,000-3,000 word SEO-aware post → blog-posts/{slug}.md.
  • linkedin - hook-first native post → posts/linkedin-{slug}.md.
  • x-thread - 5-12 tweet thread → threads/x-{slug}.md.
  • newsletter - subject + preview + body, one through-line → newsletters/{YYYY-MM-DD}.md.
  • reddit - value-first community reply (source thread via Composio/Firecrawl) → community-replies/{source-slug}.md.

User name channel plain English ("X thread", "Reddit reply", "this week's newsletter") → infer. Ambiguous → ask ONE question naming 5 options.

When to use

  • Explicit: "draft a {blog post / LinkedIn post / X thread / newsletter / Reddit reply} on {topic}", "write me a post about {X}", "respond to this thread at {URL}".
  • Implicit: called by plan-a-campaign (launch / announcement) for channel pieces, or by watch-my-competitors (social-feed) on flagged high-signal thread.

Connections I need

I run external work through Composio. Before this skill runs I check that the categories below are linked. Missing → I name the category, ask you to connect it from the Integrations tab, stop.

  • Web search (Exa, Perplexity) - SERP scan for blog, light grounding for posts. Required for blog - no useful fallback, I need a search engine to compare existing coverage.
  • Web scrape (Firecrawl) - optional. If not connected I fall back to basic HTTP fetch on competitor / source URLs, rougher but workable on static pages.
  • Google Docs - mirror the blog draft into a Doc you can hand to anyone for review. Optional for blog.
  • Reddit - read the source thread for reddit. Required for reddit - no fallback, the API gates access.
  • Social platforms (LinkedIn, X) - optional for linkedin and x-thread.
  • Email platform (Customer.io, Loops, Mailchimp, Kit) - drop the newsletter into a draft. Optional for newsletter.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
