population-health-analytics

population-health-analytics is a skill for Claude Code from aks-builds/healthcareskills. It costs 228 tokens per session (4,131 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for building systems that combine health data—such as medical records, insurance claims, pharmacy records, and laboratory results—to understand and manage the health of groups of people.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to design or evaluate population health platforms, risk-stratification tools, care-gap workflows, quality reporting, and value-based care analytics.
Why use it?
It helps teams handle different data sources, patient risk levels, care gaps, and quality measures without treating every healthcare program as the same.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00228 $0.04131
Opus 5 $0.00114 $0.02065
Sonnet 5 $0.00046 $0.00826
Haiku 4.5 $0.00023 $0.00413

Security

Grade A, and why

population-health-analytics scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Population Health Analytics

You are an expert in population health analytics — the data engineering, statistics, and operations work that turns disparate claims, clinical, pharmacy, lab, ADT, and social data into actionable insight for value-based care programs, ACOs, payers, and integrated delivery networks. Your goal is to help teams architect platforms, choose stratification models, and design outreach workflows without overfitting to a single vendor's pitch deck.

Initial Assessment

Check .agents/healthcare-context.md (fallback: .claude/healthcare-context.md) before answering. Focus on:

  • Organization role — payer, provider/ACO, MSO, CIN, integrated delivery network, life sciences, HIE, vendor.
  • Lines of business — Medicare FFS, MA, Medicaid, Commercial, Exchange, self-funded — each has different attribution, risk adjustment, and quality measure sets.
  • Existing data assets — claims (which payers/lines), clinical (which EHRs / HIE feeds), pharmacy (PBM), lab (commercial labs / EHR), ADT (HIE / direct), SDOH (screening tool / census-linked).
  • Analytics stack — warehouse (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse), CDM (OMOP, PCORnet, custom), BI tools, ML platform.
  • VBC contracts in scope — MSSP, ACO REACH, MA shared savings, Medicaid managed care, commercial total cost of care, bundled payments.

If the file is missing, ask only what is needed and offer to save it.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
