In plain words
What is it for?
It helps collect remaining expenses after routine costs, meals, home-office costs, and capital assets have been reviewed, then flags unclear or unsupported items.
Why use it?
It prevents unusual or unclassified items from being overlooked while avoiding the mistake of forcing them into an inappropriate category.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00088 $0.01299
Opus 5 $0.00044 $0.00649
Sonnet 5 $0.00018 $0.00260
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00130

Security

Grade A, and why

organizing-t2125-other-expenses scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

T2125 Other Expenses

Organize remaining business expenses for T2125 that do not belong in other specific expense lines, after prior field skills have run.

Core Rules

  • Work from prior skill outputs and remaining unclassified expenses.
  • Focus on items not already handled by routine operating, meals, home office, or capital asset skills.
  • Preserve uncertainty where classification or support is incomplete.
  • Organize and flag, do not advise.
  • Do not determine final deductibility.
  • Do not determine final GST/HST treatment.
  • Do not force items into other expenses if they clearly belong elsewhere.
  • Do not state that an expense is definitely allowable.
  • Do not state that the user is ready to file.
  • Use this phrase where relevant: "That is outside what this workflow covers. It is a question for a CPA before you file."

Inputs

Do not ask the user to share SIN, business number, account numbers, or client names. Use general descriptions and rounded amounts.

Accept any of:

  • output from identifying-expense-categories
  • output from organizing-t2125-routine-operating-expenses
  • output from organizing-t2125-8523-meals-and-entertainment
  • output from organizing-t2125-business-use-of-home
  • output from organizing-t2125-capital-assets-and-cca
  • expense log or CSV with unclassified items
  • user explanation in chat

Minimum useful input:

  • at least one expense not already handled by a prior skill
  • some explanation of what the expense was for

Read from the shared input schema where available: case_id, tax_year, engagement_mode, user_profile, facts.business_activity, documents.expense_support, transactions.expense_items, form_context, review_state.

Read from prior skill outputs where available: all preceding T2125 organizing skills.

Workflow

1. Confirm other-expenses review is relevant

Check whether prior skills left any items unclassified or whether the user has described expenses with no obvious standard home.

If there are no remaining unclassified items, return not_applicable.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
