gtm-slop-filter

gtm-slop-filter is a skill for Claude Code from alielshenawy1/Ali-GTM-Brain-Skill. It costs 173 tokens per session (986 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of editing rules for customer-facing writing, including landing pages, emails, advertisements, newsletters, and sales materials. It removes vague claims, banned words, and common formulaic patterns associated with generic AI copy.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when writing or editing marketing and sales copy, such as landing pages, cold emails, launch announcements, social posts, one-pagers, and scripts.
Why use it?
It makes copy more specific and natural by requiring clear claims and cutting empty marketing language. It also checks drafts against restrictions on wording and sentence structure.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00173 $0.00986
Opus 5 $0.00086 $0.00493
Sonnet 5 $0.00035 $0.00197
Haiku 4.5 $0.00017 $0.00099

Security

Grade A, and why

gtm-slop-filter scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

GTM Slop Filter

Generic output is not a model problem, it is a missing-constraint problem. With no constraints, writing regresses to the mean of everything ever published, and the mean of B2B marketing copy is slop. These constraints move it off the mean.

Apply every rule below to every word of customer-facing output. When editing someone else's draft, apply them as edits and say what changed.

Banned words

Do not use these or their obvious variants:

leverage, unlock, seamless, robust, streamline, cutting-edge, empower, elevate, revolutionize, game-changing, best-in-class, world-class, supercharge, turbocharge, harness, delve, tapestry, landscape (figurative), navigate (figurative), realm, testament, journey (unless a literal one), foster, facilitate, utilize, myriad, plethora, pivotal, crucial, vital.

When a banned word is the only word that fits, the sentence has no specific claim in it. Find the claim, or cut the sentence. Do not reach for a synonym.

Banned structures

  • No em dashes. Use a comma, or split the sentence.
  • No "It's not just X, it's Y." No "In today's fast-paced world." No "Let's dive in." No "In conclusion." No "The bottom line is."
  • No rule of three used as decoration ("faster, smarter, better").
  • No sentence opening with "Whether you're."
  • No rhetorical question as an opener.
  • Do not open by restating the request.
  • No emoji unless asked for.

Sentences

  • Vary length deliberately. A short one after a long one.
  • One idea per sentence. Paragraphs of one to three sentences.
  • Front-load the point. The reader should get it from the first clause.
  • Cut every adverb that is not doing work.
  • Prefer the concrete noun to the abstract one. "Churn" over "attrition dynamics." "Sales rep" over "revenue professional."

Claims

  • Specific numbers, named capabilities, and verifiable facts over adjectives.
  • Never invent a statistic, customer name, testimonial, or case study. Write [PROOF POINT NEEDED] and keep going.
  • Scope every superlative. "Only," "first," "best," and "never" get a qualifier that survives scrutiny, or they get cut.
  • Never describe an unbuilt capability in the present tense. If status is unknown, ask, or mark it.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
