aid-create-config

aid-create-config is a skill for Claude Code from AndreVianna/aid-methodology. It costs 75 tokens per session (378 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of aid-create-api, MIT.

A planning shortcut for defining a configuration option or feature flag. A feature flag is a switch that lets software behaviour be enabled or disabled without changing the code again.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan one configuration option or feature flag, including its requirements and acceptance checks.
Why use it?
It turns a known setting or rollout switch into a reviewed specification and task list, without starting implementation automatically.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00075 $0.00378
Opus 5 $0.00037 $0.00189
Sonnet 5 $0.00015 $0.00076
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00038

Security

Grade A, and why

aid-create-config scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Shortcut: create config

Bind VERB=create, ARTIFACT=config, then run the shared engine at .claude/aid/templates/shortcut-engine.md. The engine scaffolds the flattened Lite work (feature-001 structure) and authors exactly two documents: REQUIREMENTS.md, whose § 11 feature section carries the technical specification and whose § 9 carries the gate criteria, and the task DETAIL.md files -- with reduced capture. One feature and one delivery means there is nothing to sequence, so no plan is written and the execution graph is derived from each task's **Depends on:** field. It runs the per-document Grading Gates (feature-004) and halts at the FR-10 approval gate. It never executes. This shortcut's default_type/group are its row in .claude/aid/templates/shortcut-catalog.yml.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
