StarNet is a local-first desktop harness for creating AI agents and arranging them in a pixel-art space station whose layout represents their capabilities, permissions, and workflow. It lets people run real model calls and tools through multiple bounded agents, using their own provider keys or accounts and optionally messaging the station through chat services. The catalogue entries are skills that extend or support work performed by StarNet agents.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00055 | $0.01215 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00022 | $0.00486 |

Grade A, and why
bills-and-subscriptions scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 42 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Recurring charges hide in plain sight. Build one list the Commander can trust: every line traced to a statement or receipt, every total computed rather than estimated, and nothing cancelled or paid on your own.
Method
- Agree the sources. Statements and receipts the Commander puts in the workspace as files: find them with
fs.list, read them withfs.read(CSV, text, Word, Excel and photos read; a PDF statement does not, so ask for the CSV export most banks offer, or a photo). If they want mail receipts included, use the connected Google account's mail tools (find them withtool.search; never guess a tool name) to search for receipts, invoices, renewals and trials, read-only. Not connected: work from files and say mail was not checked. Ask for three months at least, and ask about yearly charges directly, since they show up once in twelve. - Pull out the charges. For each: date, the merchant text as printed, amount, currency, and which file or message it came from. Parse CSV with
code.run. - Tidy the merchant names. "AMZN PRIME*2K4" and "Amazon Prime" become "Amazon Prime"; keep the printed text beside the clean name. If you are not sure two lines are the same service, keep them apart and ask.
- Find what repeats. Same merchant, similar amount, a regular gap: weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly. Mark each "confirmed" (two or more charges, or a receipt that says it renews) or "likely" (seen once).
- Record each one. In
money/subscriptions.md: name, printed merchant text, amount and currency, cadence, last charged, next renewal (marked "estimated" unless a receipt states it), how to cancel, status, source. Find how to cancel on the receipt or the provider's own help page (web_search,web_fetch) and name where you found it; otherwise write "not found". - Flag what needs a look. Price rise (old amount, new amount, since when). Duplicates (two plans of one service, or two services doing one job). A free trial about to start charging (the date and the first amount). Possibly unused (ask; never assume). Charges you cannot match to a known service. Yearly renewals in the next 30 days.
- Do the sums with
code.run. Work in the smallest unit (pence, cents) as whole numbers, never decimal fractions. Monthly total = monthly items + weekly x 52 / 12 + quarterly / 3 + yearly / 12; give the yearly total too. One total per currency; convert only with a rate the Commander gives. List the lines you added so the total can be checked. - Make the cancel-or-keep shortlist. For each flagged item: its cost per year, why it is on the list, and a plain question. "Two music services, 263.76 a year together. Keep both?" State facts; leave the choice to the Commander.
- Save and hand over.
fs.writethe list, re-read it, name it withdeliverable_note. In the reply: the totals, the flags, the shortlist, and which months and accounts you saw. - Keep it current. Next time, read the existing list first, add the new statements, update amounts and dates, and add a dated line to a short change log at the bottom.
- Cancel only on a go-ahead. For a named item the Commander approves: give the exact steps from the provider's own page and draft any cancellation message for them to send. If they ask you to do it in the browser, they sign in themselves (
browser.loginhands them the window); afterwards record what the page confirms, including the end date.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

bills-and-subscriptions is a skill published in the GitHub repository androoAGI/starnet (1,468 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 55 tokens to every session and 1,215 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-04.
