In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to list, create, inspect, or update runs; assign test cases; and mark cases as passed, failed, blocked, skipped, retest, or untested.
Why use it?
It keeps run details and case-level results synchronized instead of requiring updates through separate manual steps.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00076 $0.00429
Opus 5 $0.00038 $0.00215
Sonnet 5 $0.00015 $0.00086
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00043

Security

Grade A, and why

testdino-manual-runs scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

TestDino Manual Runs

Use TestDino manual-run tools when the user wants to manage a manual execution run or update case-level results inside a run.

Preferred flow:

  1. Call health if projectId is not known.
  2. Use list_manual_runs to discover runs by name, state, release, environment, or tags.
  3. Use get_manual_run to inspect one run's metadata and rollup stats.
  4. Use create_manual_run or update_manual_run for run-level metadata changes.
  5. Use list_run_test_cases before changing any individual case in a run.
  6. Use update_run_test_case to assign a case, change its result, or update elapsed time.

Important details:

  • runId accepts an internal ID or a counter-style ID like RUN-12.
  • rtcRef can be the run test case row ID, case key like TC-156, or the underlying test case ID.
  • updates.assigneeUserId can be a user ID or email address.
  • updates.result accepts display form or canonical form, but canonical values like passed, failed, blocked, skipped, retest, and untested are safest.
  • For create and update payloads, tags and linkedIssues must be JSON arrays.

Good requests for this skill:

  • list manual runs for a release
  • create a manual run for sprint MS-12
  • show all test cases in run RUN-12
  • assign TC-156 in RUN-12 to [email protected]
  • mark TC-156 as passed in RUN-12
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
