What is aosp-device-support?

A reference guide to how the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), the open-source foundation of Android, supports hardware and device types. It covers processor architectures, the Android emulator, device management and form factors such as cars, TVs and watches.

Use it when working with ARM, x86_64 or RISC-V builds, Android emulator images, enterprise work profiles, automotive or TV devices, Wear OS, printing or the Camera2 capture pipeline.

It gives developers a place to check the platform details that vary between processors, emulators, managed devices and non-phone hardware.
