adp-ihcm

adp-ihcm is a skill for Claude Code from apideck-libraries/api-skills. It costs 81 tokens per session (1,720 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of acerta, Apache-2.0.

A skill for connecting to ADP iHCM, a human-resources system, through Apideck's shared HR systems API. It covers employee, department, payroll, and time-off records.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when reading or synchronising ADP iHCM employees, departments, payrolls, or time-off records through Apideck.
Why use it?
It avoids writing separate connection code for each supported HR system, although this ADP iHCM connector is marked beta and may not cover every operation.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00081 $0.01720
Opus 5 $0.00041 $0.00860
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00344
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00172

Security

Grade A, and why

adp-ihcm scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

ADP iHCM (via Apideck)

Access ADP iHCM through Apideck's HRIS unified API — one of 58 HRIS connectors that share the same method surface. Code you write here ports to BambooHR, Workday, Deel and 54 other HRIS connectors by changing a single serviceId string. Apideck handles auth, pagination, rate limiting, and retries so you don't write per-tenant ADP iHCM plumbing.

Beta connector. ADP iHCM is currently in beta on Apideck. Expect partial resource coverage and occasional mapping gaps. Always verify coverage (see below) and fall back to the Proxy API for unsupported operations.

Quick facts

When to use this skill

Activate this skill when the user explicitly wants to work with ADP iHCM — for example, "sync employees in ADP iHCM" or "list time-off requests in ADP iHCM". This skill teaches the agent:

  1. Which Apideck unified API covers ADP iHCM (HRIS)
  2. The correct serviceId to pass on every call (adp-ihcm)
  3. ADP iHCM-specific auth and coverage caveats

For the full method surface (parameters, pagination, filtering), use your language SDK skill:

For the raw OpenAPI spec:

Minimal example (TypeScript)

import { Apideck } from "@apideck/unify";

const apideck = new Apideck({
  apiKey: process.env.APIDECK_API_KEY,
  appId: process.env.APIDECK_APP_ID,
  consumerId: "your-consumer-id",
});

// List employees in ADP iHCM
const { data } = await apideck.hris.employees.list({
  serviceId: "adp-ihcm",
});

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
