Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00073 | $0.02088 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00029 | $0.00835 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00015 | $0.00418 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00007 | $0.00209 |
Grade A, and why
paychex scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 15d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Paychex (via Apideck)
Access Paychex through Apideck's HRIS unified API — one of 58 HRIS connectors that share the same method surface. Code you write here ports to BambooHR, Workday, Deel and 54 other HRIS connectors by changing a single serviceId string. Apideck handles auth, pagination, rate limiting, and retries so you don't write per-tenant Paychex plumbing.
Beta connector. Paychex is currently in beta on Apideck. Expect partial resource coverage and occasional mapping gaps. Always verify coverage (see below) and fall back to the Proxy API for unsupported operations.
Quick facts
- Apideck serviceId:
paychex - Unified API: HRIS
- Auth type: oauth2
- Status: beta
- Apideck setup guide: Connection guide
- Gotchas: page
- Paychex docs: https://developer.paychex.com
- Homepage: https://www.paychex.com/
At a glance
- Implementation difficulty: moderate — Consumer Creates the App Credentials by Hand in Paychex Flex
- Vendor partnership required: no (Paychex Developer Partner programme) — Joining gives a Paychex-provided sandbox and a production key and secret.
- Apideck-managed credentials: not available — Each Paychex client connects with its own app credentials.
- Account type required: A Paychex Flex client company.
- Consumer access level: Super Admin or Security Admin in Paychex Flex (permission to manage connected applications).
- Sandbox: available (signup) — Request it through the Developer Partner programme; Paychex provides it once approved.
- Authentication: Client ID and secret pasted in Vault; no OAuth sign-in.
- Webhooks: Virtual webhooks - employee created and updated events
Important to know:
- After connecting, the consumer must grant their company access to the credentials in Paychex. Until then the company list stays empty and the Company field cannot be selected.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

paychex is a skill published in the GitHub repository apideck-libraries/api-skills (5 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 73 tokens to every session and 2,088 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.

Use when streaming durable workflow updates to a UI in real time — live order status pages that animate as steps complete, AI agent token streaming from a function to the browser, log tailing for long-running jobs, or human-in-the-loop approval flows that publish a prompt and wait for a user reply. Use when designing event-driven workflows, decoupling services, implementing fan-out patterns (one trigger, many downstream handlers), implementing idempotent event handling with IDs (24-hour dedupe window), or handling at-least-once delivery from external sources like Stripe webhooks.
