What is apple-reminders?

A command-line tool for managing Apple Reminders on macOS. It can work with reminders, lists, due-date filters, and JSON or plain-text output.

Use it to view today's, upcoming, overdue, or all reminders; create, edit, complete, or delete reminders; and manage Reminders lists.

It lets terminal-based work create and manage items that appear in the Apple Reminders app, instead of keeping personal to-dos separate from the rest of the workflow.
