claude-forge: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/wire-sentry/SKILL.md

wire-sentry is a skill for Claude Code from arunanksharan/claude-forge. It costs 84 tokens per session (599 once invoked), scanned A, original, Unlicense.

A setup guide for Sentry, a service that records application errors and performance problems. It covers FastAPI, NestJS, Express, Next.js, React Native, and Flutter apps.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding Sentry to an existing app. It helps install and configure the correct software package, scrub private data, upload source maps in continuous integration, and track releases.
Why use it?
It helps developers add error tracking without overlooking privacy settings, release information, source maps, or sensible data-sampling choices.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00084 $0.00599
Opus 5 $0.00042 $0.00300
Sonnet 5 $0.00017 $0.00120
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00060

Measured 8d ago against content hash c85653662cfc, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

wire-sentry scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Wire Up Sentry (claudeforge)

Follow observability/03-sentry.md. Steps:

  1. Identify the stack: which app(s) — FastAPI / NestJS / Express / Next.js / RN / Flutter?
  2. Confirm with user: do they have a Sentry account + project + DSN? If not, ask them to create one and share the DSN.
  3. Install the SDK for the target framework — see the relevant section of 03-sentry.md:
    • Python (FastAPI): sentry-sdk[fastapi] + setup_sentry() in startup
    • Node (Nest/Express): @sentry/node + @sentry/profiling-node, import-first pattern
    • Next.js: @sentry/nextjs via pnpx @sentry/wizard -i nextjs
    • React Native: @sentry/react-native via pnpx @sentry/wizard -i reactNative
    • Flutter: sentry_flutter package + SentryFlutter.init
  4. Configure the SDK:
    • dsn, environment, release (set via env)
    • Sample rates: tracesSampleRate: 0.1, profilesSampleRate: 0.1 (start low, tune up if needed)
    • sendDefaultPii: false + a before_send / beforeSend scrubber for password/token/api_key fields
    • Integrations relevant to the framework (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Redis, Celery, etc.)
  5. Set up source maps (web/RN frameworks):
    • In CI, after build: npx @sentry/cli sourcemaps upload --release "{{slug}}@{{git-sha}}" ./dist
  6. Set up release tracking:
    • Set SENTRY_RELEASE env var to {{slug}}@{{git-sha}}
    • Confirm releases appear in Sentry UI
  7. Configure alerts in Sentry UI: route critical errors to Slack/PagerDuty.
  8. Trigger a test error to verify end-to-end: sentry_sdk.capture_message("test") or throw a test exception.

Don't crank tracesSampleRate to 1.0 in production — bill shock. Always scrub PII before sending.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
