ci-integration

ci-integration is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Aryan-Jhaveri/mcp-statcan. It costs 62 tokens per session (842 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A CI integration runs API checks automatically in a continuous-integration system, which tests code changes on a server such as a pull request. It can also publish reviewed API files to a shared Postman workspace after merging.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to run collections, lint collections and API specifications, check workspace rules, enforce AI-readiness thresholds, and publish approved artifacts after merge.
Why use it?
It makes checks repeatable instead of depending on a developer's computer or session. Separate checks can verify request behavior, file structure, governance rules, or whether an API collection is usable by agents.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00062 $0.00842
Opus 5.5 $0.00025 $0.00337
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00168
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00084

Security

Grade A, and why

ci-integration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 63 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

CI Integration

Versioned collections and specs let a PR carry its API checks beside the code change. CI reruns those checks independently of the author's session, while publishing after merge makes the reviewed contract available to teammates and future work. api-discovery helps identify consumers the gate should cover; the author's own passing tests do not establish cross-service compatibility.

  1. Select checks by the guarantee they establish:

    Guarantee Gate
Saved behavioral assertions pass postman collection run <path-or-id>
    A collection's structure/style is valid postman collection lint <path> -f error
A spec meets workspace governance rules postman spec lint <spec> --workspace-id <id> -f error
Workspace entities and bindings pass lint/governance postman workspace lint --workspace-id <id> -f error
Agent consumability meets an agreed threshold postman collection ai-readiness <path> --min-score <n> or the spec equivalent

Collection lint does not apply organization governance. Workspace-aware lint evaluates the rules available to that workspace; it does not author the policy. Confirm the intended rules are configured before claiming compliance. Read command-specific -h for installed options.

  2. Keep gate results distinguishable so a failed build identifies behavior, structure, governance, or readiness. Preserve nonzero exits; suppressing them with -x/--suppress-exit-code removes the gate. For collection runs, -r junit, html produces reviewable reports; --bail trades a complete failure inventory for an earlier signal. See api-testing for assertion semantics and ai-readiness for score limitations.

  3. Restore declared dependencies with postman dependency install when tests use them. Choose the target deliberately: a mock checks behavior under a model, while a live run sends real requests and can write data. PR gates should use a suitable isolated target and credentials; being a test does not make the command read-only.

  4. Authenticate only jobs that need workspace resources. Use the CI secret store to supply POSTMAN_API_KEY, then postman login --with-api-key "$POSTMAN_API_KEY". A local-only gate need not log in. Command-specific API-key flags are not a general replacement for login across lint and push operations. Use bootstrap for unresolved bindings, and variables for request credentials.

  5. Publish only the reviewed branch after its merge checks pass. postman workspace push -y changes shared context; a PR-triggered push would publish an unmerged contract. The normal prepare phase assigns IDs to new entities, so --no-prepare can leave additions unpublished. Inspect the intended diff and binding when configuring this job; -y supplies noninteractive execution, not authorization for a different scope.

  6. Use the default create/update strategy unless exact mirroring is the explicit requirement. --push-strategy force-sync can delete workspace entities absent from the checkout, including resources managed elsewhere. Follow bootstrap's diff and consent boundary for that branch.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ci-integration is a skill published in the GitHub repository Aryan-Jhaveri/mcp-statcan (7 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 62 tokens to every session and 842 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-27.
