EngramGraph: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/release-standards/SKILL.md

release is a skill for Claude Code from AsiaOstrich/EngramGraph. It costs 105 tokens per session (2,019 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for releasing software using Semantic Versioning, a standard way to label changes as major, minor, or patch updates, and a changelog, a record of those changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to start or finish releases, promote a release candidate to a stable version, record deployments, create build manifests, check release readiness, and update a changelog.
Why use it?
It reduces mistakes when preparing versions, release notes, build records, and deployments across manual or automated release processes.

Skill for Claude Code

This is AsiaOstrich/EngramGraph's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on EngramGraph itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything EngramGraph configures →

Needs its repository: it reads a path above its own folder, which exists only inside the repository. The line is 完整的 AI 行為定義請參閱對應的命令文件:[`/release`](../commands/release.md#ai-agent-behavior--ai-代理行為).

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00105 $0.02019
Opus 5.5 $0.00042 $0.00808
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00021 $0.00404
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00202

Measured 14d ago against content hash bee149f7ceb4, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

release scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 14d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

  1. Determine version - Decide version type based on changes (MAJOR/MINOR/PATCH)
  2. Triage open issues/PRs - gh pr list + gh issue list; classify each bring-in vs defer (XSPEC-265) / 掃描 issue/PR、每項二分(帶上 vs backlog)
  3. Update version files - Update package.json and related version references
  4. Update CHANGELOG - Move [Unreleased] entries to new version section
  5. Run pre-release checks - Verify tests, lint, standards compliance, and issue/PR triage gate
  6. Create git tag - Tag with vX.Y.Z format
  7. Commit and push - Commit version bump and push tags

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

release is a skill published in the GitHub repository AsiaOstrich/EngramGraph (3 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 105 tokens to every session and 2,019 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-16.
