EngramGraph: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/reverse-engineer/SKILL.md

reverse is a skill for Claude Code from AsiaOstrich/EngramGraph. It costs 113 tokens per session (2,174 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A framework for reverse engineering an existing system, meaning learning how it works from its code and operational evidence. It examines logic, stored data, and the running environment.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to produce a broad system report, extract specifications from code, inspect schemas and migrations, and study runtime logs, errors, metrics, and infrastructure.
Why use it?
It helps make undocumented systems understandable by connecting APIs, modules, database structures, logs, configuration, tests, and deployment details.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00113 $0.02174
Opus 5.5 $0.00045 $0.00870
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00023 $0.00435
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00217

Security

Grade A, and why

reverse scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 14d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

System archeology framework: reverse engineer existing systems across three dimensions — Logic, Data, and Runtime.

Full Analysis Mode | 全面分析模式

When /reverse is invoked without a subcommand, execute all three dimensions sequentially:

  1. Data → Scan schemas, ORMs, migrations
  2. Runtime → Analyze logs, configs, deployment
  3. Logic (spec) → Extract APIs, flows, tests → Generate SPEC

Output: Integrated System Archeology Report combining all three dimensions.

spec: Logic Dimension (既有)

  1. Scan - Read source files and identify public APIs, data flows, and business logic
  2. Classify - Tag each finding as [Confirmed], [Inferred], or [Unknown]
  3. Structure - Organize into SDD spec format with Acceptance Criteria
  4. Attribute - Cite every reversed item with file:line source reference

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

reverse is a skill published in the GitHub repository AsiaOstrich/EngramGraph (3 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 113 tokens to every session and 2,174 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-16.
