Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00000 | $0.00365 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00000 | $0.00146 |

Grade A, and why
keyword-research scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Yandex Wordstat MCP
What this server covers
Aggregated search demand in Yandex search: how often a phrase is typed, when, and where. This is not Yandex Direct — there are no campaigns, ads, bids, clicks or spend here, and the data is not tied to any ad account. Everything is read-only.
Budget the quota before the first call
One call covers one phrase, so comparing N keywords costs N calls from the Yandex Cloud Search API quota, which is counted per key and shared across every call. Do not run a whole keyword list blindly: pick the phrases that decide the question, and reuse what you already fetched.
Pick the right call
Only the dynamics call accepts a date range. Top-requests and regions always report the last 30 days, so asking them for a custom period silently gives you the default window.
The region tree is cached in the process, so re-reading it costs nothing.
Read counts as numbers
count values are int64 and often arrive as JSON strings. Convert them before sorting or
summing, or "900" will sort above "1000".
Errors worth not retrying
The server already retries 429, 5xx and network errors with increasing pauses, so repeating the same call after one of those is wasted quota. A 401 or 403 means the key lacks Search API access or the folder id points at the wrong folder — that is an operator fix, not a problem with the phrase.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

keyword-research is a skill published in the GitHub repository askads/mcp-yandex-wordstat (7 stars, last pushed 9d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 365 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-04.
