design-system-rules

design-system-rules is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from atezer/FMCP. It costs 96 tokens per session (4,176 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A rule generator for design systems, which are shared rules for colours, fonts, spacing, and interface components. It reads Figma variables and styles and creates platform-specific rules for iOS, Android, or web projects.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create design-system rules for mobile and web codebases from an existing Figma design system.
Why use it?
It avoids applying the same coding rules to every platform when each one uses different file formats, naming styles, and frameworks.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00096 $0.04176
Opus 5 $0.00048 $0.02088
Sonnet 5 $0.00019 $0.00835
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00418

Security

Grade A, and why

design-system-rules scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Design System Rules Generator (Multi-Platform)

Design Token Kuralı: Bu skill'deki kod örneklerinde geçen font adları, renk kodları, piksel boyutları yalnızca FORMAT gösterimidir. Çalışma anında tüm design token değerleri (font, renk, boyut, spacing, radius, gölge) kayıtlı kütüphaneden (figma_get_variables, figma_get_styles) veya kullanıcıdan okunmalıdır. Hardcoded token değeri kullanma. Detay: project-context.md → "Design Token Kuralı".

Overview

Required Workflow

Step 1: Plugin Bağlantısını Doğrula

figma_get_status()

Step 2: Figma Design System Verilerini Çek

figma_get_design_system_summary(currentPageOnly=false)
figma_get_token_browser(verbosity="full")
figma_get_variables(verbosity="full")
figma_get_styles(verbosity="full")

Bu verilerden çıkar:

  • Token kategorileri ve isimlendirme yapısı
  • Mode'lar (Light/Dark, brand varyantları vb.)
  • Variable'ların resolvedType, valuesByMode, scopes bilgileri
  • Hangi variable'ların alias olduğu (referans zincirleri)

Not: Plugin-only modda enrichment (health score, unused variables, circular references) otomatik olarak hesaplanmaz. Bu analizleri kendin yapmalısın: aynı isimdeki variable'ları, referans edilmeyen variable'ları ve döngüsel alias'ları raw veriden tespit et.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

design-system-rules is a skill published in the GitHub repository atezer/FMCP (9 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 96 tokens to every session and 4,176 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
