azure-cloud-migrate

azure-cloud-migrate is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from autohandai/community-skills. It costs 74 tokens per session (454 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A migration guide for assessing workloads on AWS, Google Cloud, or other providers and converting them to Azure services. It includes a separate assessment before code migration, such as moving AWS Lambda functions to Azure Functions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to assess cross-cloud applications, create migration reports, and convert supported serverless workloads to Azure.
Why use it?
It helps teams understand migration readiness and map cloud-specific code and services before changing the workload.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00074 $0.00454
Opus 5 $0.00037 $0.00227
Sonnet 5 $0.00015 $0.00091
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00045

Security

Grade A, and why

azure-cloud-migrate scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Azure Cloud Migrate

This skill handles assessment and code migration of existing cloud workloads to Azure.

Rules

  1. Follow phases sequentially — do not skip
  2. Generate assessment before any code migration
  3. Load the scenario reference and follow its rules
  4. Use mcp_azure_mcp_get_bestpractices and mcp_azure_mcp_documentation MCP tools
  5. Use the latest supported runtime for the target service
  6. Destructive actions require ask_userglobal-rules

Migration Scenarios

Source Target Reference
AWS Lambda Azure Functions lambda-to-functions.md

No matching scenario? Use mcp_azure_mcp_documentation and mcp_azure_mcp_get_bestpractices tools.

Output Directory

All output goes to <source-folder>-azure/ at workspace root. Never modify the source directory.

Steps

  1. Create <source-folder>-azure/ at workspace root
  2. Assess — Analyze source, map services, generate report → assessment.md
  3. Migrate — Convert code using target programming model → code-migration.md
  4. Ask User — "Migration complete. Test locally or deploy to Azure?"
  5. Hand off to azure-prepare for infrastructure, testing, and deployment

Track progress in migration-status.md — see workflow-details.md.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
