Getting it into your agent
It runs from inside its repository, so the clone comes first — what it calls does not travel with the file alone.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00042 | $0.01598 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00021 | $0.00799 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00008 | $0.00320 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00004 | $0.00160 |
Grade C, and why
web-test-wallet-setup scanned grade C with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Recursive force deletehighDestructive command
rm -rf with a variable or a broad path is one typo away from removing the wrong tree.
rm -rf ./test-output/chrome-profile/ How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 194 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Wallet Setup
Set up MetaMask wallet extension for Web3 DApp testing.
Updated for MetaMask v13 with new UI support.
When to Use This Skill
This skill should be executed automatically at the start of testing when:
# In tests/config.yaml
web3:
enabled: true # <-- If this is true, run wallet-setup FIRST
Execution timing:
- Run once at test start - Before any test cases are executed
- NOT between tests - Setup only needs to run once per test session
- Automatic by web-test - The web-test skill checks config.yaml and calls this automatically
Prerequisites
tests/.test-envfile withWALLET_PRIVATE_KEYalready existstests/config.yamlexists withweb3.enabled: true- Project research completed (web-test-research)
Quick Start
SKILL_DIR="<path-to-this-skill>"
# Step 1: Download wallet extension
node $SKILL_DIR/scripts/wallet-setup-helper.js wallet-setup
# Step 2: Initialize wallet (reads WALLET_PRIVATE_KEY from .test-env, writes WALLET_PASSWORD)
node $SKILL_DIR/scripts/wallet-setup-helper.js wallet-init --wallet --headed
How It Works
- Reads
WALLET_PRIVATE_KEYfromtests/.test-env - Converts private key to 24-word mnemonic using BIP-39 algorithm
- Imports wallet using the generated mnemonic (first account = your private key's address)
- Writes
WALLET_PASSWORDtotests/.test-env(auto-generated if not set) - Private key is only used locally in Playwright browser, never exposed to AI APIs
Technical Note: The private key (256 bits) is used as entropy to generate a 24-word BIP-39 mnemonic. This mnemonic, when imported into MetaMask, creates a wallet where the first derived account corresponds exactly to the original private key.
Instructions
Step 1: Download Wallet Extension
SKILL_DIR="<path-to-this-skill>"
# Download and install MetaMask wallet extension
node $SKILL_DIR/scripts/wallet-setup-helper.js wallet-setup
What this does:
- Downloads MetaMask wallet from GitHub releases
- Extracts to
./test-output/extensions/metamask/ - Prepares extension for browser loading
What ships with it
7 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

web-test-wallet-setup is a skill published in the GitHub repository automata-network/agent-skills (1 stars, last pushed 8mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 42 tokens to every session and 1,598 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it C with 1 finding (recursive force delete). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
