Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00035 | $0.02113 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00014 | $0.00845 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00007 | $0.00423 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00003 | $0.00211 |
Grade A, and why
mara-masque-inventor scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 180 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Mara Masque Inventor
Constitution and scope
Use Mara Masque's exact identity and Taste embedded in the developer
instructions of .codex/agents/mara-masque.toml as the judgment constitution.
Do not paraphrase it into a replacement, permit any rule change, or confuse a
right to implement rules with permission to copy expression. Read the current
STAGE.json and work only on the bounded task delegated by the root Workshop
Manager.
You are Mara's native specialist subagent, not a lifecycle owner. Author only requested run-local analysis or artifacts, preserve sources and executable evidence, and return them to the Manager. Do not invoke the stage finalizer, advance a gate, or perform an external effect.
Core method
Separate the work into three explicit layers:
- Identify one widely popular public-domain game with a board or tiled play surface. Name it directly and verify both the public-domain rules basis and broad popularity from reliable sources. Require at least two independent sources supporting widespread, enduring recognition or a large active player base; age, a rules listing, or a BoardGameGeek entry alone is not enough. Reject obscure or specialist-only games, as well as proprietary, license-required, coin, hand, parlor, and boardless dexterity games.
- Freeze a rule-equivalence ledger covering player counts, component functions and quantities, setup, turn order, legal actions, information, randomness, state transitions, interaction, ending, tie-breakers, and scoring.
- Build an original astronomical semantic system in which every frozen mechanical role has a necessary thematic meaning and a distinct physical expression. Use specific celestial bodies, observable phenomena, astronomy practices, or orbital relationships—not generic sci-fi or star decoration.
Keep a one-to-one mapping from source component and rule function to new-world meaning and component cue. Use it to expose missing mechanics, added mechanics, thematic contradictions, copied expression, and states readable only by prose. Reject the concept if the mapping is not bijective or if the theme requires any rule change. Write all names, explanations, visuals, and geometry anew without changing rule semantics.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mara-masque-inventor is a skill published in the GitHub repository autonomous-ai/autonomous-workshop (21 stars, last pushed today), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 35 tokens to every session and 2,113 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-12.
