home-ops: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/media-stack/SKILL.md

media-stack is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Aviator-Coding/home-ops. It costs 101 tokens per session (1,383 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to a media library stack: download tools, movie and TV managers, Plex, and related applications. It describes how files, quality profiles, searches, imports, and storage work together.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when changing media applications, adjusting profiles, running backlog searches, managing Plex, or checking download and import storage.
Why use it?
It prevents accidental torrent deployment, incorrect quality-score assignments, oversized backlog searches, and storage surprises when imports must copy files.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00101 $0.01383
Opus 5.5 $0.00040 $0.00553
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00277
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00138

Measured 4d ago against content hash 8cee237ab0a0, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

media-stack scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Media stack: *arr apps, SABnzbd, Recyclarr and Plex

The downloads namespace is usenet-only. Quality profiles, library scans and which movie sits on which profile are application database state, not Git.

Tripwires

  1. Usenet only. No torrent client is deployed. Radarr's disabled qBittorrent client and Prowlarr's four definition-less torrent indexers were deleted through the apps' APIs. Re-adding a torrent path is a new decision, not a leftover to "finish". arr-settings.md
  2. Recyclarr assign_scores_to matches trash_id, never profile name. A TRaSH rename orphans name-matched scores onto the old profile and creates an empty new one. recyclarr.md
  3. Radarr never searches for a monitored movie that has no file. There is no missing-movie task, and import lists run searchOnAdd: false. Size a backlog search against free disk before running it. backlog-search.md
  4. Hardlinks across CephFS and NFS are impossible. Imports copy. Budget double disk for the copy window.
  5. Do not measure or delete shared-downloads from the SABnzbd pod. Its RBD incomplete mount shadows the CephFS path. Use the Radarr pod. The human steps are sabnzbd-disk-space.md.
  6. Plex does not see NFS filesystem events. FSEventLibraryUpdatesEnabled looks right and does nothing. Scan triggers are Radarr/Sonarr Connect plus Plex's periodic update, and both live in app databases. plex.md
  7. The Plex token is a PushSecret into the existing plex 1Password item, not a generated secret. An empty PLEX_TOKEN still reports SecretSynced and breaks plex-exporter and Bazarr. Check decoded length. plex.md
  8. Tdarr library scope and flow state are not in Git. processTranscodes on the library is the scope gate. librariesToNotProcess is a Tdarr Pro feature and a no-op on this unlicensed install. Skill tdarr-transcoding. Keep transcodecpuWorkers at least 1.
  9. Books run Shelfmark -> Calibre-Web-Automated, Usenet only. Shelfmark (downloads/shelfmark, env-only config) searches through Prowlarr, SABnzbd saves to the books category on shared-downloads, and the file lands in the CWA NFS ingest folder. Readarr was removed (its kopiur snapshots, Postgres databases and NAS files were kept). Sonarr and Radarr run no exportarr sidecar: exportarr v2.3.0 rejects any API key that is not 20-32 alphanumeric characters.
  10. Git defines only the Cleanuparr pod. Instances, the SABnzbd client and the rules are app state in its config PVC (it ignores env vars). The queue-watchdog CronJob exits non-zero for any queue item older than 24h or an unreadable queue. Huntarr is not used (alleged API-key exposure). stuck-downloads.md
  11. Friend access is Wizarr + Seerr, set up in the apps, not in Git. Only the routes and backups are declared; invite, approval, quota and Plex limits are app state. friends.md

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

media-stack is a skill published in the GitHub repository Aviator-Coding/home-ops (3 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 101 tokens to every session and 1,383 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-29.
