Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00068 | $0.22334 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00034 | $0.11167 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00014 | $0.04467 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00007 | $0.02233 |
Grade A, and why
competitive-market-analysis scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
This is a copy
88% identical to competitive-market-analysis — 58 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 1,578 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Purpose
Produce an elite-tier competitive and market analysis that scores every competitor against 7+ strategic frameworks, decomposes moats by type, identifies disruption vectors with evidence-graded confidence, and delivers board-ready artifacts a PM cannot produce unaided. The output is a Competitive War Map — not a feature comparison, but a structural assessment of who wins, why, and what to do about it.
When to Use / When NOT to Use
Use this skill when:
- Entering a new market or evaluating a competitive response
- Preparing a strategy review, board deck, or investment memo
- A competitor makes a significant move and you need structural analysis (not reactive commentary)
- Building a positioning strategy (feeds into Narrative Building skill)
- Evaluating build/buy/partner decisions where competitive dynamics matter
- Assessing moat durability for your own product or a competitor's
Do NOT use this skill when:
- You need a quick feature comparison table (just ask for one directly)
- The "competitor" is internal (use Problem Framing skill instead)
- You need pricing analysis only (this skill includes pricing but as one GTM dimension, not the sole output)
- You need user research (use Discovery & Research skill — that's demand-side primary research, this is market-side structural analysis)
Anti-inputs (what this skill does NOT handle):
- Customer interview synthesis (→ Discovery & Research skill)
- Product specification decisions (→ Spec Writing skill)
- Statistical analysis of experiment results (→ Outcome Measurement skill)
- Internal organizational strategy (this is external-facing competitive intelligence)
Example
Prompt: Stripe just announced a spend management product that directly competes with Ramp. We have $300M ARR and 25,000 customers, mostly mid-market. Stripe already processes payments for 60% of our customer base. Our board meets in 48 hours. Analyze whether we should compete, reposition, or partner — and what our moat actually looks like now.
What ships with it
9 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

competitive-market-analysis is a skill published in the GitHub repository Avyayalaya/pm-skills-arsenal (6 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 68 tokens to every session and 22,334 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. It is 88% identical to competitive-market-analysis, differing in 58 lines, and is treated as a copy.

competitive-analyzer
Structured competitive teardown for product discovery - surface the 4-6 dimensions buyers actually weigh, score every competitor on each, and identify exploitable gaps. Use when: competitive analysis, competitor teardown, market positioning, where do we win, where do we lose, competitive gap analysis, competitor audit.
north-star-metric-finder
Identifies a candidate North Star Metric (NSM) for a product - the single metric that captures the value the product delivers to its customers and predicts long-term business growth. Tests candidates against five criteria and surfaces input metrics that move it. Use when: north star metric, NSM, single metric that…
