audit-my-portfolio

audit-my-portfolio is a skill for Claude Code from AwardTravelFinder/mcp. It costs 73 tokens per session (508 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A review of your airline, hotel, and credit-card reward-point balances. It values each balance, identifies points that may expire or sit unused, and suggests possible uses for them.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to value balances, flag points expiring within six months, find idle or stranded balances, and explore transfer partners and award options.
Why use it?
Reward points can lose value, expire, or become too small to use easily. This gives you a structured way to see what you have and which balances need attention.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00073 $0.00508
Opus 5.5 $0.00029 $0.00203
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00015 $0.00102
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00051

Security

Grade A, and why

audit-my-portfolio scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Audit my points portfolio

The tools named below are on the Award Travel Finder MCP connector. If they are not available, tell the user to connect https://mcp.awardtravelfinder.com/mcp (setup: https://awardtravelfinder.com/developers/mcp).

Plan: needs Premium: update_points_balance, list_hotel_bookings. If the user is on the free plan, tell them before you call these tools, and use the free steps where the skill gives one.

1. Load the portfolio

  • Call get_portfolio, then list_points_balances.
  • If there are no balances, ask the user for them and save each with update_points_balance.

2. Value each balance

  • Call get_points_valuation for each currency.
  • Total value = balance x cents per point. Sort from highest to lowest.

3. Flag risk

  • Expiring: balances with an expiry date in the next 6 months.
  • Idle: a programme with no activity and no upcoming trip that uses it.
  • Stranded: a small balance below the cheapest award. Call get_award_chart_faq for the cheapest award in that programme.

4. Best use per currency

  • Transferable currencies: call find_transfer_paths to the 2 strongest partners for the user's home airport.
  • Airline and hotel programmes: use get_award_chart_faq for sweet spots.
  • Check whats_on_sale for a live bonus that changes the answer.

5. Upcoming trips

  • Call list_flight_bookings and list_hotel_bookings. Suggest which balance pays for each unbooked part.

Output format

  1. Total portfolio value.
  2. Table: programme, balance, cents per point, value, status (active / idle / expiring / stranded).
  3. Top 3 actions, most urgent first.
  4. Offer: set up alerts with the set-up-alerts skill.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
